Omar and us
This email is coming a little later than usual. We went to the Randers Regnskov about lunch time today. It is an indoor rainforest zoo. We got to see lots of animals from Africa, Asia, and South America. This experience made us feel grateful that the tempeture only gets to about 32 degress Celcius about once a year here. One thing that is worth noting is how un-American it was. Several of the animals aren't in cages. The whole room is where they live. You can walk along the paths, and the monkeys will be next to you on the handrail. The birds and turtles are free as well to go where they want.
Splits was with Århus last week. I had a great time with Elder Preece, and we had lots of success talking to everyone about #OplysVerden. It was fun to be with the district, and spend time working with them.

Blitz in Randers
Friday was a big day for us here. We got permission to put up a stand on the gågade, and a member donated their tablet. There were 10 missionaries working here in Randers knocking and contacting. Several people showed interest in our message, and we already have met with one of them. We hope to see some miracles come from this.
Jule Frokost
Our last Bible Study with the Fri Church was this week. Omar made us tacos, and gave each of us a certificate of completion. He made it a point to say that Americans want things spicy, but that he couldn't find chilis hot enough to make chili sauce. One of the other members came over, and talked to us about our missions. She wanted us to come to her house around Christmas, and meet her family. She has already followed up with that, so we may end up spending one Christmas day with her.
The branch had a Jule Frokost on Saturday. Cina and Sara came. Two other members brought several friends. The members sat with them, and tried to share the gospel, and answer many of the questions. One of the families that came was very interested, and the father asked how they could become members of the church. Det kan vi godt tale om!

One sad thing before I go is that we talked with Cina and Sara yesterday. They don't want to take the lessons anymore because we don't believe in reincarnation. It was a tough phone call for us. We hope that they will be ready to accept the gospel in a few years.
Good luck this week. God Jul!
Ældste Francis
