I got this great card from Baden. It really made my day!
"But God ceaseth not to be God, and mercy claimeth the penitent, and mercy cometh because of the atonement; and the atonement bringeth to pass the resurrection of the dead; and the resurrection of the dead bringeth back men into the presence of God; and thus they are restored into his presence, to be judged according to their works, according to the law and justice."
Everyone,
This week has gone by really quickly for me here in Hillerød. If we didn't have planners I would be lost somewhere in our area not sure of where to go. The planner is like a best friend because everything I need to know is all in one place.
For p-day we went down to København to be with Elders Kinch and Willardson. Elder Halversen was really sad to see them leave because Elder Kinch was his trainer. After we said goodbye we stopped a Burger King and had cheeseburgers. It tasted like home and Dairy Queen.
Our new district is amazing. In Helsingør we have Elders Beck and Hendrickson. Elder Beck is really nice, and already that area is starting to turn around. Every time we talk Elder Beck has new ideas for finding. He has brought some life back to our district. We have Sisters Floyd and Moseley in Birkerød. There first couple of days they cleaned out the apartment. They showed us before and after pictures, and it is amazing how much dirt builds up. District meeting went really well, and we are all excited to see where things will go from here.

Our apartment in Hillerod. We live in the basement of this house.
As a zone we are working of finding from PMG. This week was having faith to find. we went knocking in a neighborhood on the south side of Hillerød, and said a prayer to find a new investigator. We knocked for about 2 hours without any luck. Only a few doors were opened, and no one wanted to listen to us. As we were about to leave I said that we should try a house that we had skipped earlier in the night because there was a party going on. We knocked, and a middle aged man answered. He let us come in the door, and asked us why we were missionaries. He also asked about our plans afterwards, and if the church would pay for our college. We tried to answer his questions, but he just kept talking. Before we left we asked if we could pray with him, and he told us the government wouldn't allow us to take pictures in the house. Picture and prayer apparently are very close in Danish. It wasn't a new investigator, but it was great to be able to teach one person that night.
We went to visit a past investigator in Helsinge. They weren't home, so we biked to some upgangs that Elder Halverson had found with Elder Howes. About halfway through the buildings it was my turn to knock, and a boy about my age answered the door. I told him who we were, and he seemed interested. I gave him a Book of Mormon, and he accepted it. This was a great experience for me because it was the first time I have given a Book of Mormon our, by myself, in Danish. The spirit really helped me to know what to say, and the words just rolled of my tongue.
Our one progressing investigator, Martin, came to church on Sunday. He called us at nine asking us where we were. We told him that we were supposed to meet him at ten. Unfortunately he didn't know about daylight savings time, so he had come one hour early. It was great to have him in church, and it happened to be the primary program. The children's testimonies were very powerful, and the spirit was so strong as they sang.

We made Danish cinnamon rolls.
We had a meeting at Brother Anderson's house last night. When we got home Elder Halversen didn't have the phone with him. We went upstairs and talked to Ricardt about it. He was able to help us find it by calling the member that we had driven home with. We were afraid that we had disturbed them, but they said that they were watching "The Work and the Glory." I really wish that we could have seen it because that is one of my book series.
We had a great eating appointment this week. It was at Anna Lise's house in Helsingør. She is from Norway, and cooked us a Christmas dinner. This is ham with the skin still on it, and it is really good. Have a wonderful week,
Ældste Francis
