2 Now these sons of Mosiah were with Alma at the time the angel first appeared unto him; therefore Alma did rejoice exceedingly to see his brethren; and what added more to his joy, they were still his brethren in the Lord; yea, and they had waxed strong in the knowledge of the truth; for they were men of a sound understanding and they had searched the scriptures diligently, that they might know the word of God.
Everyone,
This week has been great. Each day had its own high points.

We met a new member named Muhammed. He was baptized in Frederacia. We showed him how to find the church, and got to know him a little bit. We found out that his native language is French. On Sunday he came which was great, and John is our ward was able to speak French with him. They got along really well, and Muhammed surprised us in guest class with great comments on faith and repentance.

This week was zone training in Århus. There were three main points to the trainings. We need to expect the success, use the tools that we have, and teach the apostasy clearly. You may wonder why the apostasy was on that list. Denmark is a Christian country, and they believe in God. Many believe they have the truth, but some think that Christianity is falling apart. The apostasy is a new concept for them, and answers many of their basic questions about the church. The whole training was wonderful, and both of us are excited to implement what we have learned.

Our apartment was checked by Elder and Sister Blackum. They said that it is the cleanest they have seen it in months. They checked our mattresses, and were rather shocked at the condition. On the way home from Århus we stopped and bought new ones at IKEA. It was a fun adventure, and they have made our beds and backs feel better.

Michael is still doing great. He did the reading that we assigned him, and loved it. We did a short lesson on reading daily. He committed to come to church this week. Tage was with us, and we all agree that it may help him commit to join once he meets all the members.

Two weeks ago we knocked into Pernille. This week was our follow up visit. She started to read in Mormons Bog. That was great to hear. We started on the Restoration with her, but she had lots of questions. It didn't seem to be going anywhere, and then Elder Shuppy and I started testifying that God answers prayers, and will answer hers. After that she wasn't as questioning. We heard animals while we were talking in her house. She has 22 pets. 2 cats, and 20 chipmunks, squirrels, hamsters, and other small creatures. That was a little different to see.

Elder Murphy and Elder Williams came up for splits. They brought a jelly bean game with them. You would spin to see which jelly bean you would get, but you wouldn't know if it was a good flavor or a bad flavor until after you had bitten into it. The flavors were awful, but luckily I had candy from my Easter package to get the taste out of our mouths.

Malene and Jesper are doing great. Our lesson was on Frelsesplanen, and then we taught the law of chastity. We were really worried about how it would turn out. They want to get married, but don't know when. We think that we will have to take them off date because they don't have any set plans of when it will be. Jesper came to church on Sunday and loved it. He found out that there is a branch choir, and asked if he could join. That surprised us, and he should be coming to practice on Tuesday night. Casper came up to him after church an asked if he was athletic. He said that he was, so Casper invited him to come play floorball. He accepted that as well. They are amazing, and we are so thankful for the chance that we have to teach them.
Elder Francis
PS. I did get the Easter package at Zone Training. It was so fun to open and read all the letters. I can't wait to for Sarah to enter the mission field this week. Tillykke to Heidi and James.
