26 And may the grace of God the Father, whose throne is high in the heavens, and our Lord Jesus Christ, who sitteth on the right hand of his power, until all things shall become subject unto him, be, and abide with you forever. Amen.

Our week has been so much fun here on Amager. We have met with several of our investigators, felt the spirit, and done some fun p day activities. I say activities because we had two. We took an essentials p day to be able to do it.

We met one of our newest investigators Annette. She really wanted to hear what we had to say, but be critical about it. Towards the end of our lesson both of us bore strong testimonies of the gospel, and she got really quite. The Spirit can work through words. Turns out she wanted to meet with us again after that, so we should have a follow up appointment tonight.

The lesson we had with Anne Lise was one of the best on my mission. We had a great discussion on baptism and the Holy Ghost. The member Ulla that we had with us bore a powerful and blunt testimony of the Holy Ghost. At the end we invited her to baptism. She was really quite for a second, and you could see her thinking about it. Her answer was that she needed to fast and pray about it to find out. We have been in contact with her helping her with that. In the months that I have been here she had changed. You can tell from her actions now that she is beginning to understand the gospel.

Patrick is another new investigator that we have. We had an interesting but good lesson on the Restoration with him. He can't read, so that will be a bit of a challenge. We asked about his religious background, and he told us some interesting things. He started out as a Christian, but then he married a lady from Pakistan. Because of that he become Muslim, but he didn't like that. Once she left he decided that Buddhism was the best for him. Now after all of that he thinks that he would rather be a Christian. We are the right people to talk to if you want to do that. We should be seeing more of him in the coming week.

We have this great inactive member named Ole. He lives in a care center out by this huge mall called fields. Before our lesson his friend Jan came over and started talking to us. Almost every week we have said hi to Jan while we walk through the center to Ole's room. This time we invited him to join our discussion, and he got so excited. He said that it is hard to always talk to the same people every day, and to get to talk with someone new makes his day. We taught about how God's grace is sufficient for everyone. This lesson really helped Ole because he has had a hard time believing in grace. The past few times he mentioned how hopeless it was for him. Even though Jan isn't a member he still but in great comments.

Painting

This week we painted two rooms in our apartment. They look fine, but they need some help... We aren't professional painters, so we have several spots on the walls, and there is a white line around the top of the wall where it meets the ceiling.

We went with Eric Kjærgaard out to Store Magleby where Elder Maglybys name is from. We saw this beautiful church there with the over 700 year old baptisimal font. Erik took us to the museum as well. It was amazing. It showed how it was founded, and how the people lived. If anyone comes to Denmark on vacation it is a definant go and see.

The district had an activity this week on Saturday. It was to an FC København game. They played against FC Odense. It is a different atmosphere compared to an American event. The crowd takes missed shots personally, and gets really mad when the refs make bad calls. We looked rather funny in our white shirts and ties sitting in the stands, but what can you wear when you are a missionary. We did get several questions about the church.

Elder Magleby and I both forgot about September 11th yesterday. Thank you for the reminder. I don't remember the actual day, but I remember when I was little hearing about it. I am so grateful that I am an American. Living here in Denmark gives me a little national pride. Most people can tell that we aren't Danish when we speak to them. This week we met a few who thought we were Danes or Germans. Their eyes got really big when we mentioned that we were actually from the US.
