Everyone,
This week has been a real rollercoaster starting on Monday. Elder Shuppy popped his knee cap out of place, so we spent Monday night at the hospital. This doctors were able to pop it back in, but they needed x-rays of it. He has a cast and crutches now, and cannot bike. This has really slowed us down, but we have walked quite far this week. The Blackums and the members here have really helped us out several times.
Tuesday we had two great member present lessons. The first one was with a Syrian family who knows John, our most recent convert, in the branch. It was a different lesson because they couldn't understand our Danish, but when the member would say it they understood it all. They had great questions for us on God. Their religion is a mix a Christian and idol worship. They don't have any sacred texts, and it is spoken to their children. It has been passed down for many generations. It will be a stretch for them to accept our message, but they have shown some interest which is great.
The other lesson was with Micheal. We were grateful for the member who came with us because he asked some hard Frelsesplanen questions. Our lesson was Jesu Kriti Evangelium, and he understood everything we talked about. AT the end he said that many years ago he had prayed that he could find the true church. The next day two missionaries from our church knocked on his door. That was his answer, but he decided back then that it wasn't for him. We committed him to baptism, and he is willing to pray about it. He is a strong Methodist, so he expressed concerns about joining another church.

Our lesson with Meratu went really well. He had great questions for us about church. Sadly, he isn't as interested because the church has no materials in his native language. His danish is pretty good, but not up to scripture language yet. There is a difference.
My first week we had a lesson with Mia and Thanus. This week Mia set up and appointment with us which was a miracle. We arrived, and both of them had forgotten. We had a good lesson with Thanus on the Easter initiative, but Mia didn't participate. It is so frustrating when you can't convey to your investigators the importance of our message, and how much it can help them.
Easter was wonderful. We had daylight savings Saturday night, so there were only about 20 people in Sacrament. They said the closing prayer, and most of the branch was sitting in the foyer.
