Everyone,
This week we hit one of the biggest highlights of my mission. We had a lesson planned for almost every day of the week. This is big news because most days we find all day. This coming week looks promising as well with our investigators.

Jesper and Malene are doing really well. We taught Jesu Kristi Evangelium followed by Visdomsordet. They both listened carefully, and understand that they need to stop smoking in order to be baptized. One problem we are facing is that neither will commit to go cold turkey, or to set a date on when they will stop. Other than that they are trying to join in all the ward activities. Jesper came to floorball last week, and should be coming to choir tomorrow.
One of our lessons cancled on us, so we went knocking in an upgang by Bangsbo. We met a really nice guy named Dennis. He believes in Jesus and aliens, but doesn't know about God. He is happy to talk with us, and shared some of his ideas specifically on money. He believes that he should only get what he needs, and gives to those in need. Every year he gives 10000 kroner to an organization in København. That was interesting to hear.

Hjørring was great again. Sadly Jesper wasn't home, but we had fun knocking. Lots of the usual not interested before we really said anything. There was a little side street that we almost passed up. In the back cornor was a house that you couldn't really see from the main road. That was were the miracle happened. A lady answered the door, and we started talking about families with her. We found out that her son says that he isn't religious, but he reads from the Bible. We introduced Mormons Bog, and she accepted it. She said that we could come by again, and that they would be happy to talk with us.

We had rain for most of the day on Saturday. That made knocking hard, but it didn't stop us. There was a nice house with big windows on the front. Inside the floor and shelves were covered with Legos. I told Elder Shuppy that we needed to talk with the family. The dad answered, and immediantly everything seemed to work out. We discussed Legos, American accents (specifically Texas), and families. He asked how long we had been in Danmark, and was shocked when we told him. He then asked why we were in Danmark, and I shared a brief lesson on the Restoration. We asked if we could come back and teach him and his family, and he said yes! Afterwards Elder Shuppy and I were so excited. We hope to share the gospel with this wonderful family.

The work continues to move forward here. The scripture above comes from the story of Enoch. Dansk is really hard, and sometimes we feel like Enoch did. That doesn't stop us, or the Spirit from working mighty miracles. We have had lots of great trainings the last few months. One thing that came up is what others think of Europe/Denmark. It has taken some time, but I can say that Denmark is a mission that finds people, we teach them, and we baptize. It is harder than some missions, but don't believe anyone that says when you go to Europe all you do is plant seeds because here we do a lot of harvesting.
