Everyone,

This week was rather big for us here in Frederikshavn. We had splits for two days in Aalborg with our district leader. Most of it was contacting which was tough, but we have new ideas on how to have street lessons. That is pretty exciting.

Some members came from Tennessee for a family history tour. They took us out to dinner one night which was nice. We had burgers and fries. It was fun talking with them about Denmark, and hearing about their kids back home.

Henriette did her reading this week. She hasn't every read from Mormons Bog, but this time she had. She had a few simple questions which we were able to answer. Our lesson was a recap of Frelsesplanen. She remembered several points from the first time that we taught it. Coming to church is still a road block. We need to find a member who can help with that, but right now it is a little hard.

Michael is doing great as usual. He wants to move our appointments to the church or to Tages' house now. Tage says it is most likely that his neighbors know that we are coming over. We taught a Frelsesplanen lesson, and he had a few hard questions. Our goal this week is to reteach it only using scriptures from the Bible. The Lord has blessed us already in finding many that will work for our lesson.

Thanus and Mia haven't worked out for several months. Kamalini is Thanuses mom, and set up an appointment at her house with Mia. We had planned on teaching a Restoration lesson, and set expectations with Mia. Instead Kamalini wanted us to teach Frelsesplanen. That was a big change in direction, but we made it through. We will see how committed Mia is this week when we have our return appointment.

We got called by a member in Roskilde to help her sister here in Frederikshavn. Her name is Lone, and we moved her couches all the way to the dumpster from the 2nd floor (the American 2nd, 1st in Denmark). She used to be a member, but left when she was a teenager. She asked for a Priesthood blessing, and we were able to promise her help from the Lord through the gospel. Sunday comes, and she showed up at church. The whole branch was so happy to see her. during guest class she started crying because everything that had been spoken in Sacrament and taught was just for her. It was great to have her there, and the spirit was so strong.

Ward Party

There was an online referral from several months ago, that for some reason we could never contact. Her name is Maria, and this week we were finally able to teach her. She accepted a copy of Mormons Bog, and we taught the Restoration. It well take some time, but she seems willing to try and come to church. She also accepted an invitation to be baptised if she finds out that it is true. That made Saturday really fun for us.
