Alma 37:40 - April 3, 2017

And it did work for them according to their afaith in God; therefore, if they had faith to believe that God could cause that those spindles should point the way they should go, behold, it was done; therefore they had this miracle, and also many other miracles wrought by the power of God, day by day.

A photo from the Sisters of Irma and Forrest with us.

Everyone,

It was a great week here in Horsens with Elder Gardner and I.

Irma is a good friend of Forrest, and this week we taught him with Forrest. During our discussion he mentioned several things that he has learned recently which have helped him to believe that their is a God. It was a different lesson for me because Irma was telling us about gospel principles that he was started to have in his life except he didn't know that they were apart of the gospel. Forrest was a great help, and he will be a great support as we continue to teach Irma.

Making food before conference.
Conference weekened was the best. We watched all the sessions except Sunday Afternoon, so that will come sometime this week. I felt that so many of the talks were for me, and many of my inner questions were answered. Irma came to the Saturday Morning session, and enjoyed watching it.

A big miracle happened for us yesterday. A girl saw us playing volleyball about 2 weeks ago, and asked Forrest who we were. He mentioned that we were missionaries from the Mormon Church. She looked it up online, and found the address for our building here in Horsens. She walked into church yesterday. The sisters were in the building, so they watched the Women's session with her because all of the men where there to see Priesthood. She stayed to watch the Saturday afternoon session with us as well. Her name is Victoria, and she is from Lithuania.

Part of my week was spent with the Zone Leaders in Fredericia while Elder Gardner had his MY PLAN meeting in København. We had lots of fun together working in their area. I met several of their recent converts, and met several members of the ward. One of the funniest moments was when we tried to make chili at 21:30. We used a pasta sauce instead of tomato paste, so the chili tasted Italian.

One of my personal spiritual experiences happened before we left. I was able to interview their investigator Alannah for her baptism. She was an online referral by her mom who is a less active. It was a special experience to talk to her about the gospel. At the end I was unsure, but then had a strong impression to ask her to say a closing prayer. She was very uneasy, but then she did it. She gave a beautiful prayer, and I could feel that she had a testimony.
