Everyone,

We had a zone conference this week with Elder and Sister Johnson from the area presidency. It was the best four hours of this whole week for me. We learned about the improtance of teaching, members, and using commitments. Elder Johnson also taught us that obediance can change things. Specifically when teaching a group of obediant missionaries. That took up most of Thursday becuase it is down in Århus.

Most of our lessons this week were finding lessons. One man was from Connecticut. He was planning a trip to the Western US with Vegas and the Grand Canyon. We talked about that for a bit, and then he asked us why we were here. It was the perfect opportunity to share the gospel with him. At the end of a great discussion he said that he wasn't really interested. It was really sad, but it is one persen closer to finding the one who is ready.

Advent calenders are in the stores now, and nisse men are in the windows. They don't do trick-or-treating here, but some kids do dress up in costumes. 

We took a bus out to Glisborg this week. We have an investigator who lives out there. Sadly they weren't home, but it gave us some great knocking time. We chose one of the three streets in that town, and knocked the whole thing. It was quite fun to be in the middle of no where (for real), and share the gospel with others.

Elder Johnson said something that I really liked. He said that we get to walk around in the dark (we do), and share the light of the gospel with people. My scripture this week comes from Psalms 16:9,11. I chose it because it is the scripture with the Hymn, "There is Sunshine in My Soul Today." Yesterday we had daylight savings here in Denmark. That means that we have more light in the mornings, and it gets darker earlier. This little idea has given me a lot of hope. As we get closer to the holiday season, let us remember the light that the gospel brings into our lives.
