Alma 37:13 - November 30, 2015

Christmas Tree in the park.

O remember, remember, my son Helaman, how strict are the commandments of God. And he said: If ye will keep my commandments ye shall prosper in the land—but if ye keep not his commandments ye shall be cut off from his presence.

Everyone,

A very long week for us. We had splits with the zone leaders, zone conference, and blitz splits all in three days. By the end of it all we were very tired, and happy that we had made it through.

President and Sister O'Bryant playing the piano. (Very funny and very good.)
Zone conference was great. President and Sister O'Bryant gave a wonderful training on gratitude, and seeing all of the things the Lord has blessed us with. We all had to stand and say what we were grateful for. It really set the mood for our Thanksgiving dinner afterwards. All of the Senior Couples on Sjælland prepared it for us. It really felt like Thanksgiving even though it was on a Wednesday. Afterwards we had a talent show and played American football. Even though there was snow all over the ground we still had a great time.

Alma 37:33‏ - November 23, 2015

Me waiting at the station.
Alma 37:33 Preach unto them repentance, and faith on the Lord Jesus Christ; teach them to humble themselves and to bemeek and lowly in heart; teach them to withstand everytemptation of the devil, with their faith on the Lord Jesus Christ.

Everyone,

Bring on the snow! All day Saturday and Sunday it snowed on us. In most areas there is 20 centimeters, and the highest is about 40 centimeters. Elder Halversen and I have had so much fun with it, and everything looks like a winter wonderland.

Baden's framed puzzle. Thank you!
Everyone,
A rewarding week for us here in Hillerød. We had some rough times and some miracles. One of the biggest ones is we toured the castle here. They have the Carl Bloch paintings on display here, so we were very excited. We walked through the chapel, and almost passed a dark little room in the back. One of the sisters stopped, and we realized that all of his paintings we there. The spirit was so strong as we saw beautiful depictions of the Lord's life. It is definantly a place that I want to visit again someday.

Nefis Anden Bog 31:18-19‏ November 9, 2015

We went knocking and found ourselves on a cliff overlooking the ocean.
The colors were amazing, and our cameras couldn't capture the scene.

2 Nephi 31:18-19: 18 And then are ye in this strait and narrow path which leads to eternal life; yea, ye have entered in by the gate; ye have done according to the commandments of the Father and the Son; and ye have received the Holy Ghost, whichwitnesses of the Father and the Son, unto the fulfilling of the promise which he hath made, that if ye entered in by the way ye should receive. 19 And now, my beloved brethren, after ye have gotten into this strait and narrow path, I would ask if all is done? Behold, I say unto you, Nay; for ye have not come thus far save it were by the word of Christ with unshaken faith in him, relying wholly upon the merits of him who is mighty to save.

Everyone,

Another week has gone by, and what a week it has been. The Lord has strengthened us each and every day, and we have seen his hand blessing us. The biggest example of this is we were able to receive 2 referrals this week. Both of them sounded very positive to us, and we are so happy to find more people to teach.

Reflections: Mormon Message - November 2, 2015

Elder Halversen and I bought treats for Halloween. I have a 2 liter Faxi Kondi and chocolate. We had a little party that night, and I thought of the fun Francis Party. Happy Halloween!

Everyone,

Hej! Den uge er fantasis for os her i Hillerød. Vi arbejde ver dag, og vi har mange velsignelse fra Gud. Vi undervise mennesker om den ting som vi tror på., og vi hjælp dem komme til Kristus gennam Helligånden.

We have worked our tails off this week trying to become instruments in the Lord's hands, and finding those who are ready to receive the restored gospel. Thank you for all the fun emails. I love hearing from all of you, and am so glad that you are doing so well. Rhett's email was very funny for us. He was talking about the rain, and biking through it. That is the story of our lives here in Denmark. It isn't a normal day without a little rainstorm or even a big one.

Alma 42:23 - October 26, 2015

I got this great card from Baden. It really made my day!

"But God ceaseth not to be God, and mercy claimeth the penitent, and mercy cometh because of the atonement; and the atonement bringeth to pass the resurrection of the dead; and the resurrection of the dead bringeth back men into the presence of God; and thus they are restored into his presence, to be judged according to their works, according to the law and justice."

Everyone,

This week has gone by really quickly for me here in Hillerød. If we didn't have planners I would be lost somewhere in our area not sure of where to go. The planner is like a best friend because everything I need to know is all in one place.

Mosiah 18:13 - October 19, 2015

With Elder Kinch. He is leaving this week. Elder Kinch trained Elder Halversen, and has been a great friend this transfer. He has been the district leader for us, and really helped me with my Danish

Mosiah 18:13 - And when he had said these words, the Spirit of the Lord was upon him, and he said: Helam, I baptize thee, having authority from the Almighty God, as a testimony that ye have entered into a covenant to serve him until you are dead as to the mortal body; and may the Spirit of the Lord be poured out upon you; and may he grant unto you eternal life, through the redemption of Christ, whom he has prepared from the foundation of the world.

Everyone,

This has been a crazy week, but one with lots of fun times in it. I have made it through my first transfer, and learned so many things. 1. We eat lots of potatoes and bacon. 2. Liver paste tastes good. 3. It rains A LOT. 4. American pastries aren't as good as Danish ones. These were some of the things that we talked about before my mission, and now I can say that I have experienced each of these.
